Welcome
San Antonio is fast becoming the most popular vacation destination for very good reasons. There are so many fun and interesting things to do in San Antonio! Theme parks such as Seaworld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas are fabulous places to visit and, of course no one can visit San Antonio without going to The Alamo, but San Antonio has so many more things to do. Historic Texas Tours has a full line of public tours to show off the city and will also customize tours for guests or groups that want private tours. Historic Texas Tours can provide step-on guides or private tour guides.
The Mission Trail Touris a great way to see the city and is something that everyone should do. See how San Antonio began by being guided through all four of the Missions in the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park. Mission San Jose' was the second Mission to arrive in San Antonio in 1720. The other 3 Missions, Concepcion', San Juan, & Espada came here in 1731 after relocating from East Texas. Guests who take The Mission Trail Tour with Historic Texas Tours also get a discount on the audio tour at The Alamo. Our professional tour guides at Historic Texas Tours are dedicated to learning the history of The Missions and San Antonio to provide guests with a comprehensive, fully guided tour.
The Texas Hill Country & Winery Tour gives guests an opportunity to explore and sample the wines of what has become known as “The Napa Valley” of Texas. The Texas Hill Country is home to wonderful wineries, fantastic museums, delicious restaurants, and great shopping and this tour allows you to experience them all!
When folks think of Texas they usually think of cowboys & rodeos. Don’t come to San Antonio and miss seeing a real, live rodeo with bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and much, much more at Tejas Rodeo. Historic Texas Tours now offers shuttle service to Tejas Rodeo on Saturdays (Mar-Nov). When you're at the rodeo, don't miss a great meal at Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon. You will find great cowboys and cowgirls as well as the best steaks around at Tejas Rodeo.
A trip to San Antonio would not be complete without going to the largest caverns in Texas, Natural Bridge Caverns. Are you in San Antonio without your own transportation but would really love to go to Natural Bridge Caverns? Historic Texas Tours now offers a shuttle service to Natural Bridge Caverns. You can purchase your tickets to Natural Bridge Caverns at the official San Antonio Visitor’s Center, online, or when you get to Natural Bridge Caverns and Historic Texas Tours will get you there and back with ease.
