Redeeming a Living Social Certificate
Instructions for making reservations if you purchased a Living Social Certificate
Thanks for purchasing a Living Social certicate with Historic Texas Tours for the Hill Country & Winery Tour. Please follow these instructions to make your reservation:
click on "Hill Country & Winery Tours"
Click on "Get Tickets"
Choose 1 guest under the “adult” rate box and “proceed to checkout” (ignore the total that is in the next box)(If you have more than 1 groupon, each 1 must be entered separately). You MUST have the Living Social number and enter on your order. Living Social ticket orders received without VALID certificate numbers entered will be automatically cancelled without notice.
In the box marked "Discount Code" type the word living and press apply (that total will magically disappear, as will the box asking for credit card info) )(DO NOT ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION OR THE SYSTEM WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE FULL PRICE OF THE TICKETS AND, ALTHOUGH WE WILL REFUND THE TICKET PURCHASE, CANCELLATION FEES TO THE TICKET AGENT WILL STILL APPLY) If you need to order regular tickets for other people going with you, this must be done on a separate order that you will enter your credit card information.
Finish filling out the rest of the form as specified and your booking is made.
*Note: once you book a date, it CAN NOT be cancelled/rescheduled without forfeiting your certificates, so make sure that it is a firm date. Your reservation is not made until you follow the above procedure and it is on a first come, first serve basis. Guests must produce the actual Groupon certificate or be able to produce it on a smart phone, to the tour guide before boarding. (do not bring the ticket leap ticket- it must be your Groupon- If the Groupon is not produced on the day of your tour- you will not be able to go and your groupon will be void.
**If HTT doesn't get at least 6 guests booked for each tour, the guests will have to choose another date for their tour as 6 is the minimum number that it takes for a tour to operate. HTT also reserves the right to change start times & itinerary if the need arises and guests will be given as much notice as possible. Tours depart from 717 E Houston St promptly at the start time of 9:30 am unless guests check the box on the check-out form that they wish to be picked up at the I10/1604 Park & Ride by Fiesta Texas. Pick up at 1604 is between 9:45am-10:00am. If you are running late, call and we will do our best to wait on you. If you miss the start time, HTT WILL NOT turn around to come back for you and HTT is not liable for you missing the tour and no refunds will be given.
***Please remember that gratuities are not included in your deal. As guides, we work hard to make sure that you have a great time and we would appreciate it if guests would remember to tip on the full value of the tour ticket. E-mail us if you need further assistance.
